We already have binders and a spreadsheet. Why change?
Both are accurate the day they’re written and wrong the day you need them. An inspector isn’t asking whether you have records — they’re asking whether the records match the shelf. Scanning makes staying current faster than letting it slide.
How much work lands on us to set it up?
You send the list you already keep. CloudSDS handles matching, SDS attachment and location structure, and our services team can build the e-binder, validate sheets and chase suppliers for missing documents.
What format does our existing list need to be in?
A spreadsheet or CSV with product names is enough. CAS numbers, quantities and locations improve the match rate, but they aren’t required to start.
Which reports come out of the box?
Tier II / EPCRA, SARA 313, quantity by location, hazard-class rollups, consumption history and disposal records — plus custom exports you can schedule.

Do we need barcode hardware?
No. Scanning works from a phone or tablet camera; dedicated handhelds are an option for high-volume stores, not a requirement.
Is the inventory module sold separately?
It can run on its own or alongside SDS management, JSA and the LMS on one plan. Most teams start with inventory and add modules as they go.
What does it cost?
